Magnificent tulips

Keukenhof, a wonderful flower park that has one of the biggest flowerbeds The Netherlands has to offer. With lots of flowers on display, over 700 million flower bulbs. From Snow white flowers in February to a total of 800 varieties of Tulips in May. The Keukenhof is best to visit in The Netherlands during Spring.

Apart from the 32 hectares of beautiful flowers, there are astonishing flower shows, unique gardens, amazing art and fantastic events. Tulipomania, an exhibition about the powerful story of the tulip, its history and present-day narrative. 15 kilometres long hiking trails with unique sights on the extraordinary environment and wonderful scents from all the magnificent flowers. Overall, it is a lovely experience!

 

This year Keukenhof is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The theme of Keukenhof is “Flower Power, the power of flowers”. The park theme with its bright colours, hippies, peace, music and amazing atmosphere from the beginning of a groovy 70s. In addition to this unique experience, a workshop will be held on how to grow tulip bulbs in your own garden at home!

 

With a cheese tasting at one of the most extraordinary farms in the Netherlands. Here you experience the traditional cheese-making process in an authentic cheese factory atmosphere. With the aid of our expert multilingual guides and a short film, you will discover the traditional cheese-making process. Meanwhile, you enjoy some of the finest cheeses in combination with mustard. The tasting is complete with a glass of wine and port or speciality beer.
